Easington South Health is a group of GPs in County Durham, who have got together to deliver better care for our patients and for the people of Easington District (that means, Peterlee, Seaham, and everyone around).

We want you to live healthily and happily.  We want to keep you healthy, and when you have an accident or fall sick, we want you to get well as quickly as possible.  If you are unfortunate enough to get a long-term condition such as diabetes or heart disease, we want to help you to manage your life and enjoy as much as possible.  We're here for you.

We identify health needs in the community (we work out where the problems are) and we identify innovative ways to bring the delivery of those services closer to the point of need (we work out what needs to be done to solve the problems).  We negotiate with organisations and individuals best placed to provide each aspect of the services, and we approach the commissioners of services to offer the innovation, improved quality for patients, and better use of healthcare resources (we either train up our own  staff or we buy in services from the best consultants locally).  All of the organisations we work with will be fully and appropriately CQC registered at the point of service delivery (everything we do is registered with the right authorities and highest quality).  Most services will be delivered from Peterlee Health Centre, and facilities will be available from other locations throughout Easington District (we bring the services closer to you, means less travel for you, and less travel for your friends and relatives).
